When I Bought This Reel I Thought It Might Be A Little Small For Bass Fishing. But It Has Been Great !!! 8 Bearings Makes It Real Smooth.

I bought this reel to use with my Trailmaster rod. I backpack to remote mountain lakes and streams. Weight, size and quality matter a lot. I am impressed by this reel's smooth operation and sturdy structure. It's small and light. Perfect for ultra light backpacking. It is also a superb match for my 6 piece Trailmaster spin/fly rod. I highly recommend it.

I needed a replacement lite reel, for Crappie fishing(4# line), and this reel looked good and the price was right. After I recieved the reel, I found that I liked the balance, smoothness, anti-reverse, with no back-play, and size that fit my hand. What's not to like?.

Dear Thetruth, you can use a 6lb. wt... Just kidding. depending upon what your fishing for type of water ( streams, rivers, lakes; ) type of bait or lure. Sometimes i use a 1/32 oz. jighead for crappie or up to 1/2 oz. for catfish. I use 6lb. test alot. Also consider rod action and whats recomended by manufacture on the rod....Top 25 Contributor

I found mine at the Gurnee Illinois store in stock this past summer. If they wouldn't of had this reel available I would have found something else.I used this reel to replace a TiNY 20 3 ball bearing reel that broke the bail spring.
