Rated 5 out of 5 by Good reels These are darned good reels for the price, and on sale even better!!! I have used these in the past and that's why I just ordered 2 more. I'm a spinner, spoon & crankbait slinger--literally thousands of casts a season with thesre reels and have never had an issue of any kind. No line twist, no failed bail, I just simply wear them out, average one a season, but buying 2 at a time on sale--I'm way ahead. Why pay $100+ for a reel that wears out the same as these? Rated 5 out of 5 by good reel A very good and cheap reel. good for beginners or just as a spare or a primary reel. March 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by reel at a good price bought a few of these in different sizes for all around fishing, crappie, bass and perch. they hold up well and has a pretty smooth drag for a reel in this price range. like the fact that i'm not into it for alot, so i can move up in quality and still have these for backups or loaners. just using some regular mono, nothing fancy. have pulled in some nice bass cranking these on a browning silaflex. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Reel I just got this reel today and it is really smooth and hold a lot of line. I bought it as a back up but I am considering making it my primary. January 21, 2014

A:
front drags tend to be smoother and don't get easily gunked up with dirt, sand and stuff when you're bank fishing

Nothing. It only means where you adjust the drag from on the reel.
