Bought three of these to replace some worn out ones, and took them on a three-day trip to the coast. Size 2 reels with 100 yards of braid are entirely adequate for whiting, silver trout, speckled trout, etc. Absolutely no problems with any of the three. Wonderful reels for the money.

I was looking for an inexpensive light to medium action reel, I choose this one. Not a bad choice. No problems casting or retrieving my line. Works great with 20lb braid for lure fishing which I do a lot of in the pond by my house. Reeled in a 5lb snakehead with ease. There is only one thing, the line retrieval roller does not spin. Tried greasing, removing the washers and trying different combinations, still does not move. Besides that, it is a good reel for the money.

Over all great reel! it performs great under alot of conditions. The drag is very smooth and holds up well when handling big fish. I have 15lb spiderwire braid and it casts like a breeze. already caught tons of fish on it. I would recomend this to anyone cause its a quality reel at a great price.
