Bought this combo to take saltwater fishing in Florida and was really surprised how good it was,I was using a 4oz sinker on 50 lb. Excel line and I had no problems at all (caught everything from Sea Trout to Octopus and throw in some Sheephead) this set up is such a good deal i'm gonna order another set in MH ( I bought Heavy the first time) and I can say They Will Do The Job!
