Rated 5 out of 5 by roadrunner1 Best Crappie Purchase The first day i used it i caught 33 crappie. it doesnt only just catch crappie but it also catches walleye too. though if you do purchase the lure, your going to have to tie on a little weight because its not the heaviest lure on the market. Users enjoy! March 30, 2011

A:I beleieve the answer is SLOW. Make a steady retrieve and reel as slowly as possible. Even then, you are probably reeling too fast.
A:Slow. During winter months fish metabolism slows down which allows them to live with less food intake. Typically fish don’t “chase” food with the same intensity one would see during the summer or warm water months. A slow retrieve gives a slow-to-act fish a chance.
