paint in eye have to clean 75%. Nine days for standard shiping is not good.

The Marabou jig is probably the best lure ever for crappie and perch. The color really doesn't matter that much from my experience. Hungry fish go for the shape. I have used something similar to this for over 30 years with great results.

I received a handfull of these jigs from another kit I purchased and am glad I have 'em! I tied one on my line and caught everything from perch to bluegill to even some stocked steelhead in our lake. The jigs are extremely durable and when used with Crappie Nibbles are a deadly combination. The paint has yet to crack or peel and the only negative with this product is that the paint blocked the eyelet for tying to the line. I'm not sure if it was just my batch but the issue is easily fixed with a needle. Overall, this is a great buy!

I love marabou crappie jigs. The action of the tail is always phenomenal. The paint on the head is pretty durable but the hook does need sharpening. But these baits produce the most crappie and bream for me.

One day while fishing on the Chatahoochee River here in Georgia, I found this little jig. I never used it because I didn't know what it would catch. What can this catch and do you just work this like a regular jig?Answers

that little wonder jig will tend to catch small mouth, crappie, even blue gill. I definatly recomend the green color though. that gets the best results for me. as far as how to use it that depends on whats bitting and where you are. I like to start with a standard jiging motion than move to bouncing it on the bottom and finally a steady slow retrive. just play with it till you find what works for you.A:Â
I like a 1/8 oz. black marabou jig , you can use any color you want as long as it's black, 6 pound test line and an ultra lite rod. I would fish moving water over rocky areas and sea walls.Work the jig kinda fast at first just swimming it over the rocks , then slowing it down bouncing off the rocks. If casting toward shore start working your jig right away so it won't settle in the rocks.Good Luck and remember if you're not losing jigs you,re not fishing in the right spots.A:Â
They will catch about any fish......even the big ones, cast em and jerk um think of them as a minnow ........try itTop 100 Contributor

this a very verstile jig. it can be fished in many different patterns. you can twitch along the bottom. you can vertically jig it when you are over top of fish. you can simply cast it and reel it in. it is capable of catchin crappies, bass, sunnies, pickeral, perch, and walleye. bear in mind though it is more on the finese side of the spectrum for bass and walleye so it is not a lure you should be specifcally targetin those fish with unless all else fails. it has a small profile so it may not work as well as a texas rigged worm on most ocassions. however it is a decent ice jigTight Lines
