I love simplicity in fishing, Marabou jigs are in my opinion are very much like spoons, they are a catchall. I have caught crappie, freshwater drum, white and yellow bass, and also largemouth on these little jewels. I like to fish in spots most are afraid to cast, a bridge that I fish under on Lake Conre has beaten me many times. Everyone there fishes tube jigs or live minnows and I have caught fish on these lures when nobody else was catching anything I have beaten the blades off roadrunner jigs, and unraveled many marabous,.
These are the first marabou jigs I have used that did not come unraveled due to me casting them into the brdge pilings. I recomend getting the jig eye cleaner, it helps keep the paint on the jig longer since you don't scrape it off cleaning the eye with a pockety knife, or whatever your using, not to mention its much quicker and convenient.

These BPS marabou crappie jigs are one of the top producers in my jig box. They consistently produce crappie in all the lakes that I fish. Use mostly 1/32 & 1/16 with 4 lb. line. The color selection and price of the jigs are hard to beat. While fishing for crappie with these jigs, I have also caught bass, catfish and hybrids. I am fortunate to be able to fish about 100 days a yr. and consistently catch fish. These jigs work for me. Only complaint is that I have to remove the paint from the hook eyes.

One day while fishing on the Chatahoochee River here in Georgia, I found this little jig. I never used it because I didn't know what it would catch. What can this catch and do you just work this like a regular jig?
I like a 1/8 oz. black marabou jig , you can use any color you want as long as it's black, 6 pound test line and an ultra lite rod. I would fish moving water over rocky areas and sea walls.Work the jig kinda fast at first just swimming it over the rocks , then slowing it down bouncing off the rocks. If casting toward shore start working your jig right away so it won't settle in the rocks.Good Luck and remember if you're not losing jigs you,re not fishing in the right spots.
this a very verstile jig. it can be fished in many different patterns. you can twitch along the bottom. you can vertically jig it when you are over top of fish. you can simply cast it and reel it in. it is capable of catchin crappies, bass, sunnies, pickeral, perch, and walleye. bear in mind though it is more on the finese side of the spectrum for bass and walleye so it is not a lure you should be specifcally targetin those fish with unless all else fails. it has a small profile so it may not work as well as a texas rigged worm on most ocassions. however it is a decent ice jig Tight Lines
