Bought product thinking it would help. But nope, like they say you get what you pay for. First got em to stick on reel but with weather changes it fell off. Second it would not hold my line securely always lose and slides out was using 65lb braid equivalent to 15lb mono, all in all not worth the purchase causes more harm than good.

I use this primarily for braided line on baitcasters.Make sure where you will stick it is smooth and clean it with alcohol first.They stick fine if you do that.They seem to work best with 20# braided line.12# mono was actually to big to hold tight.Ok for it's intended purpose but has limitations.

First of all the darn things will not stay on the reel. Next even if you go to trouble to glue them on they don't hold the line worth a darn. Not a solution of anykind.

Ever since I saw these 4 years ago I have used them on every rod that I own. It is like having a third hand while tying on a new lure. darn handy.
If the peel and stick fails just add a drop of supper-glue.
