Bass Pro Shops® Lazer Eye™ Shad
- Super swimming action
- Oversized Lazer Eyes
- Natural holographic finish
- Durable soft plastic body
The swishing tail action on our double-jointed Lazer Eye Shad is enough to make any bass want to engulf it as soon as it comes into range. But the oversized Lazer Eyes and ultra-natural holographic finish just combine to aggravate the situation. Super swimming action. Durable soft-plastic body, pre-rigged with a super-sharp premium hook.

I use these in Bangkok, Thailand to catch Giant Snakeheads. They work better than anyother bait BUT the snakeheads have big teeth and sometimes I catch 1 and sometimes 3 on a bait, but no more before they are destroyed. But there is no rubber bait that last any longer and these catch the most. Oh, they are great on barramundi also.

Guys - we go to a small pike lake (80+ acres) in our favorite campground and catch 20-30-40 pike in a 4-hour span. These Lazer Eye shad have out-produced our other lures that we have been using for years (Johnson Spoon, Mepps). They look great in the water, are easy for even the littlest pikemasters to throw, and the strikes are ferocious and unmistakable.
I urge all of you to give this bait a try. Buy 2 or 3, because after about the 6th or 7th fish, you have a gloppy plastic mess at the end of your leader - they tear 'em up!

I'd remove the bottom treble and simply run the top hook of the bait on an Alabama rig. Look into the cream sunfish swimbait for a cheaper ( and smaller 2'' profile) alternative to this lure for Alabama rig use. Have fun with that rig!Details:Â

I might not be dead-on, but the 4" should be around 3/8 oz and the 5" around 1/2 oz total. Plenty of weight for casting. Too much weight to put these on an Alabama rig in my opinion.Top 250 Contributor
