Bass Pro Shops® Lazer Eye™ Shad
- Super swimming action
- Oversized Lazer Eyes
- Natural holographic finish
- Durable soft plastic body
The swishing tail action on our double-jointed Lazer Eye Shad is enough to make any bass want to engulf it as soon as it comes into range. But the oversized Lazer Eyes and ultra-natural holographic finish just combine to aggravate the situation. Super swimming action. Durable soft-plastic body, pre-rigged with a super-sharp premium hook.

I hooked a little bass the very first time I tied this lure onto my line. Bought a 3" Shad and was surprised at the lifelike design and quality for the price. Using it in clear water, I can see it swims well for me and doesn't get stuck on its side. I feel like the single treble hook minimizes hang ups and snags and prevents excessive injuries to fish. I'm a catch-and-release guy so the more healthy fish in my lakes the better.
I just ordered a 4" Olive Shiner in hopes of attracting even larger bass. For less than three bucks, these lures are a no-brainer!

Tie it on your line, cast it out on the water, and I'm sure you get something big. The way the joints are cut and shaped makes for a literally perfect resemblance of a small fish. The first time I used it was in march, pond was ice cold. I threw it out and almost immediately caught my family ponds' biggest bass we call Birtha. 5 ft. long and 17 lbs. best lure ever.

I'd remove the bottom treble and simply run the top hook of the bait on an Alabama rig. Look into the cream sunfish swimbait for a cheaper ( and smaller 2'' profile) alternative to this lure for Alabama rig use. Have fun with that rig!Details:Â

I might not be dead-on, but the 4" should be around 3/8 oz and the 5" around 1/2 oz total. Plenty of weight for casting. Too much weight to put these on an Alabama rig in my opinion.Top 250 Contributor
