Been 15 years or so since I've been fishing. Bought this over the holiday weekend and love it! It's light, easy to use for a noob like me, and stylish.
I was able to cast with ease and reel my catches in without trouble (even though they were small catches).
I would recoomend this for females who are small and don't prefer a lot of weight or bulk of the manlier pole. This pole reminded me the fun I use to have fishing and makes me eager for the next trip to the lake.

I purchased this rod for my wife, and she loves the smoothness of the cast, the guides are well built for long casting and smooth retrieve and ok I found myself fishing with it as well. To my surprise I caught a 3lb bass with my wifes pink lady lite. GREAT PURCHASE!

I bought this for my teenage daughter, whom fishes with me most every time I go. Very smooth operation, seems durable. She has used it 9-10 times now and loves it. I have used it as well and it is a nice rod a reel. Biggest catch, she caught a 2lb Drum and a 4lb catfish. No big bass yet! She had no problem landing either fish.
