Great product. My Granddaughter loves it.. Couldn't ask for a better rod and reel for a part-time fisherwoman.

my little 7 year old's first rod. she managed to get lure stuck on bottom and i snapped the tip trying to free it up. basspro is sending me a new one no questions asked. will definitely be buying from BPS in the future. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this for my wife last week thinking it would be a great combo for her. Unfortunately, the rod snapped in half the first time she tried to set a hook. A terrible waste of money. I will only buy Plueger from now on.

I have a 4'6" that I believe is an ultralight and a 5'6"? that is a light. If you don't mind the color green, there is also a Wally Marshall Signature series that comes in a 5'6" ultralight. I own that rod, too, and it is my go-to rod for trout fishing (it is a 1 piece, though).Answers

The rod comes as is with no extra spool. I purchased one for my wife last night because I have only heard good things about it. We will be trying it out on some spawning bass today….1 of 1
