Great in heavy cover, and the Kermy will do the same. But its poor quality paintjob makes it an inferior product. (paint peeled off within several casts)Get the Snag Proof Frog!

I feel that it will. I fished the Kermy last weekend in some thick pads and had no trouble with it. caught some nice bass on as well. good hookset and fish came right to the boat.

i think you get what you pay for, kermy for me does not work as well as a spro, but some1 on a tight budget can get a cpl frogs for a decent price. for me the plastic on the kermy is too hard, and fishing the thickest slop on the pond ive found it does not glide over as well.

I used the lightening one. It's black with yellow markings. I also have the green frog color. have not fished it yet. But I think that the darker colors work good in light stained water.

I was wondering if the plastic is soft enough for a better hook set and how do they do with keeping the water out?

A:
This is a soft bait and the water stay out for the most part. after a few cast just give him a little squeeze and the little bit of water that got in squirts out. it works good with a bit of water left so when you stop movement the hind end sits slightly deeper just like a real frog does.

Yes these frogs are exactly like the spro frogs. I use them all over florida they are tough enough for the heavy cover done here but soft enough for the bass not to spit out.

The plastic is a little stiffer than it is with other frogs. I had 10 strikes with 4 being taken down and only wound up with one fish. This could have been my fault too. As far as the water, I have to squeeze out the water after every 3-4 casts.

A:
We designed these to keep water out but as with all hollow bodied baits some water will get in over time. Also the plastic has about the same softness as the other major brand frogs. They are very comparable.
