Just put nose of fish flush against vertical flange and measure where tail overlaps pre-printed markers.
Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Keeper Counter I purchased the 22" model. I keep it in my boat and have used it many times. If you are like me and like to keep some fish to eat, you want to make sure the fish is legal. This takes the worry away. November 17, 2008

I am looking to mount this inside one of my lids of my X-5 and I can't find a mounting bracket for this. Do they make one or do we just keep it in the box or the bottom of the boat?

We do not make a mounting bracket for this item. It does have holes that you can screw down in place.
