Rated 5 out of 5 by great purchase I've owned this product for about eight yrs. and haved measured to many fish to even try and guess and has performed flawlesly and still looks brand new. July 21, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sexy's Real Review I purchased the 22” version of this scale many years ago and it has held up great. I don’t understand the technology behind it, but when you lay your fish down the scale actually grips it like a rubber glove, which keeps your fish from sliding on the scale. I love this scale for that fact alone! The only problem I have with this scale is reading the numbers on it. If you’re fishing on a sunny day it can sometimes take a minute or two for you to look at it at just the right angle so that the glare isn’t making the markings completely unreadable. It is this very reason that has caused me to upgrade to the Tournament series scale (which is blue and white) so that I can read the markings on the scale more easily. Granted, I’m usually in a hurry with anything I do so if you’re willing to have some patience, you’re not in a big hurry, or convenience when scaling is not of great importance to you, then these “Gold” series scales are the best buy around. Overall this scale is very durable and strong, and should last a lifetime for those who purchase it if washed after each use and properly stored. Enjoy! April 8, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quick and easy! If your not sure how long that bass is and are afraid he is in the slot, get one of these so you can measure him, make the right decision, and keep fishing with no worries. February 25, 2009

I am looking to mount this inside one of my lids of my X-5 and I can't find a mounting bracket for this. Do they make one or do we just keep it in the box or the bottom of the boat?

We do not make a mounting bracket for this item. It does have holes that you can screw down in place.
