You're going to hear a lot about CarbonLite as it far exceeds current technology in rod design. Performance-wise, it's all about revolutionary materials--a total re-thinking of what goes into making the strongest, lightest, most incredibly sensitive rod ever devised. A CarbonLite rod is a thing of beauty, built on an ultra-rich carbon-fiber blank that compares favorably to 85 million modulus (IM9) graphite. Sleek, smooth carbon fiber transmits vibrations instantly and weighs much less than standard materials, yet has hookset power to spare. The guides are special: feather-light, stealth-black, Pacific Bay DLC stainless steel frames with titanium-carbide inserts and a PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating to make them extra-slick and damage-resistant. Split handles with P-Tec poly-foam grips (and virtually no foregrip) keep weight low and blank contact high; our two-piece Soft Touch reel seat is light, comfortable, and bridgeless, exposing significantly more blank area to direct hand contact. All in all, you'll love the feel and handling of this revolutionary rod, guaranteed. And with every model available for far less than high-end rods--you'll love the price too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by spinrbait not as durable as i wish
i just set the hook on a fish yesterday, and the rod snapped in two. almost in the middle of the rod. very disappointing. but i like the feel and sensitivity of the rod more and more, every time i use it. i think i am going to buy 2 more, so i will have a spare. i was using a 7 foot medium and a spot remover jig. i don't know if i would go with one medium heave for a 1/2 ounce jig with a 5 ought hook and 20 lb test though

would have given the rod 5 stars but i ordered it specifically becaue i wanted the longer handle for leverage. pic clearly shows it is about 19" and it is 15" at best. Bass Pro needs to be more accurate as it cost me 120 to find out

These carbonlites are really good rods for the price. I use my with both flourocarbon and braid and it works equally well. The reel seats offer great sensitivity. Really strong value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ranger364VMT 3 years and still doing well
I purchased my BPS Carbonlite MH/ Fast Action rod in 2011 and its still doing well and has held up to alot of abuse. I own 2 Carbonlites. This rod is a good buy in my opinion and has held up well to both the demands of tourney fishing and boat abuse. I used this rod in the ABA/Bassmaster Weekend series as one of my main go to rods for pitching light jigs and creature baits works great paired with flouro and a Carbonlight reel. Is it the best rod or most sensitive I own? No, but for the money it is probably the best value when you compare performance vs. the buck. Can't go wrong owning a couple of these rods in your rod arsenal.
