We believe that no finer spinning reel has ever been built for the fine art of finesse fishing. The featherweight, inflexible nature of the CMC (Computer Molded Carbon) frame transmits every vibration. These reels are ideal for braided microlines and the intimate contact fishing that truly puts you in touch with the fish—you’ll feel every tick and bump, and missed hits will become a thing of the past. So if that fat bronzeback even thinks about eating your drop shot worm, or if a 30" walleye picks up your rig and runs toward you with it, you’ll know. And it’s not limited to lightweight lures; it’s got enough middleweight punch to handle structure-oriented largemouth on mid-sized lures as well. With six double-shielded stainless steel bearings plus one line roller bearing, operation is seamless. It also features a ported spool face; super-smooth seven-part drag stack with carbon and stainless steel washers; Powerlock instant anti-reverse; and hardened brass and zinc alloy gearing. One thing’s for sure: when you lock this reel onto your favorite rod, you’ll never want to take it off again.

Machined Aluminum and Carbon Pipe Handle:
A synthesis of aluminum and carbon gives super cranking power and the lowest possible mass.

Forged, Ported Spool:
Cold-forged and double anodized-aluminum spool with chamfered ports to reduce weight and increase efficiency.

Carbon/Stainless Drag Stack:
Powerful seven washer drag stack alternates carbon and stainless steel for outstanding fish-stopping power and long life.

Computer Molded Carbon (CMC) Frame:
With our revolutionary new CMC technology, the frame is precisely formed from a reinforced graphite composite for exceptionally low weight and extreme strength.

You should be able to fix this problem! All you need to do is remove the spool, then look on the spool shaft at where the spool rests. There should be some type of little disc or gear whit some plastic washers, may not be plastic. remove one to start with, if that doesn't work, remove an other. There should be at least two. What that does, is it allows the spool to sit further back on the shaft, allowing the the line to go further up on the spool. So by removing the plastic spacers should cure the problem with the line on your spool. Sometimes these little spacers are red, black, clear. Don't remove the metal one, just the plastic ones! Hope this helps you whit your reel!

Tight lines,and be safe!

I ordered the larger model and it didn't come with the spare spool. I would recommend getting the larger model because its very tiny and compact. I can't imagine how small the 500 reel is

I believe the 750 and 500 are seperate sizes although they are pretty close physically. They do not come with a spare spool but I imagine a replacement would be available through the parts dept.

I bought the 500 which is about 6 ounces...6.3 if I remember the spec sheet. I find mine to be very well balanced and anyone else picking up the combo (500 model on a 5'6' light IM7 rod) coments on how light it is.

I replaced a Shimano Spirex 2000fe with the 750 model and I got to say I am diggin' it. Spooled it with Berkley NanoFil in 8lb test; It is paired with a 7'2" ALX rod and this rig is the lightest combo I own. Had it out two weekends ago and I can't wait to use it again!
