Rated 4 out of 5 by woodsman0692 nice fishing rod
I got the 9 ft. for casting from shore at the local lake, thaught the 9 ft. would give me some extended range and it did just that, at times nearly doubling my normal with a shorter rod,it is very sensitive but with enough stiffness to handle the larger fish, was a lot of fun with a 7 lb. bass,I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 star because the hook holder down near the rod handle kept catching my line when casting, stoping the lure mid way to its target,I promptly removed it,I think it should have been more to the back of the rod,to avoid this problem.other wise this is my goto rod when on the shore or in the boat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by stleut Nice rod but breaks
I purchased a medium heavy Johnny Morris carbonllite rod and took it to Canada. It preformed beautifuly for 4 days. On the 5th day after catching numerous Pike over 40 inches, I made a CAST and the rod snapped in half, not fighting a fish but it snapped on a cast. I was in the Canadian wilderness and thankfully I had an extra rod with me or I would have been enjoying the weather and not fishing. If you have read the other reviews there seems to be a pattern of this rod breaking. I would avoid it at all costs.
