great i have a few of theese and im glad to have it just another great bps product. March 31, 2009
must have for ice fishing I think this is a must have for ice fising. Most small ice fishing jigs eyes are painted over. This helps remove the paint. January 22, 2009
Its decent I have been using this tool now for 3 years and I feel that its just ok. On my tool the hole the punch goes thru is located so far back that unless you are using a really large jig it doesnt work. If you have a small jig head, the jig head hits the lip of the tool before the jig eye lines up with with hole and punch. You can get it work but you have to finagle it a little bit. And if the paint on the jig head is really hard paint..........forget it. Your better off using another hook because its easier and quicker. If your a serious jig fisherman, you should either look at a higher grade tool or take the day before you go fishing and open your jig eyes before hitting the water. wcb April 12, 2011
Not bad, but not great... I picked up this BPS Jig Cleaner to use while getting ready for this upcoming fishing season. It does work, but trying to poke the paint out of micro panfish jigs can be a bit of a pain. The point should be sharper and more arrowhead shaped versus rounded; to perform much better.
