Bass Pro Shops Humpin' Toads
As a Pro-Fishing Guide in Argentina for over 18 years, I have tried many different baits. Golden Dorado and Wolf fish are our main targets. They have very different behaviors, so finding a lure that will provide action with both species is very rare.
The Bass Pro Shops® Humpin' Toad was a great find, it works on both species and delivers non stop action. Fishing it on top of weed beds brings up the Wolf fish that jump clearly out of the water to catch them. In deeper water, If you let them sink and retrieve with a erratic movement they will get Golden Dorados to bite.
The only mishap is that they break after a couple of hits, but this happens with any lure that gets hit by our fish. So they will remain as a first choice in my fishing bag. Great product, thanks!!!

Bass Pro Shops® Humpin' Toad Review
Overall I can't say that we had the best experience with the humpin' toad. It did not result in too many strikes in the lakes where we used it and had moderate success with other frog baits. Have heard that it gets more attention in weed choked lakes (we didn't use it there).

These things are awesome! I Texas-style rig them on a 4/O single hook setup and work them over hydrilla/milfoil beds. The action is nonstop. I have caught countless nice Bass and Snakehead on these here in the tidal Potomac River. Top notch lures.
Tip: I like to rig these with a BPS worm rattle, the little metal ones. Swim them, buzz them, skip them over the pads... you can't go wrong with these. See attached photo of Snakhead that couldn't resist the Humpin' Toad.

I've thrown alot of buzz frogs...the sound this one makes makes the difference. the only change I would like to see to it is the material, it ussually tears beyond repair after one catch, maybe if they used that new super stretchy material.....but then again that might change the sound....cant have that!
