I bought this rain gear just around a week ago and was out fishing when a big storm came. This gear kept my dry. I can't compalin. For the money for the coat and bibs I bought the set. All and all it performed the 1 st time out.

i was very happy with the suit i got from bass pro off line. but the reel i ordered was the wrong retrieve side and i also called to double check that i ordered the right hand reel she told me it was so there a screw up some wheres so know i got to take the time to ship it back

My husband received this rain gear last Christmas. The first time he had to rely on it during a fishing tournament here in Southern California where the weather, for a change, was actual "weather" - he got soaked to the bone in the first 15 minutes. It would have been laughable had it not been so miserably cold the next 8 hours of his life.
He was so wet and sad and defeated in this gear that a sponsor of the tournament actually GAVE him one of their sweatshirts and a T-shirt so he could get out of his soaking wet "100% waterproof Rain jacket." Horrible purchase.
(And yet, we're such huge fans of everything else we've ever purchased here...it just doesn't make sense). Why haven't you recalled this product Bass-Pro? Not very pro of you.

goretex is way better. don't buy this product if you think it will protect you from rain or water over the bow of your boat.A:
HPR stands for Hundred Mile Per Hour rain gear.It has goretex in it. Goretex in the material that keeps you dry but lets your body breathe through the material (so you dont get sweaty on the inside) many rain coats use goretex. its worth every penny if the person is out in the elements.
