i think that this fish gripper/holder is magnificient! it holds fish for you to take the hook out. or, if you're just plain scared to hold a fish with bar hands, buy this wonderful gripper!

Used this for catfishing, and found out that it the BPS brand is better than most other brand names. Works well with a solid grip. I don't go catfishing without mine.

THIS ITEM DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO. I LIFTED A 30 POUND BLUE CAT WITH THIS AND IT HELD UP FINE.

The package states the handle swivels mine doesnt. Is this true with all of them or is mine deffective

The package does state that the unit swivels.Mine does with force. It does not swivel freely.
