Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good rod for the money This rod is a great middle ground rod great for a beginner. This rod is rugged and can stand up to torture. I bought one of these rods when I first started getting into fishing 8 years ago and I used it and abused it for all 8 seasons and I just replaced it this season the cork started falling apart. But that was after much abuse season after season. The quality of this rod is good for the price you get what you pay for this rod has ok sensitivity and action but again it is only $40. Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional rod Bought the 7' medium action more than two years ago and landed basses, pikes, perches and few trouts, weighting between 2 and 12 pounds. Lost fight with a 20 lb carp (just because I didn't have a net at that time but the fish was exhausted after 15+ minutes fighting). I definitely recommend this rod to everyone, from beginners to experts. April 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent value Used my 7 ft for 2 years so far with excellent feedback. For the price you cant find a better rod. September 16, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by One Day Wonder I bought one of these rods less than three weeks ago. Due to my travel schedule I had not been able to get out with the new rod until this last weekend. Caught 4 trout right off of the bat. 5th trout. SNAP! Broke about 6 inches off of the tip. Before that, the rod was great. Now we will see how the BassPro return policy works because of course I do not remember where I put the receipt. I am all about a cheap rod, but at least last longer than 1 day. July 22, 2013
