This net is one of the best ideas ever. No more tripping over the net because you have no place to put it. Easy to fold up and throw back in the storage box of the boat. Large hoop and extended handle makes netting fish simple.

I bought this to replace a Bass Pro Shops economy landing net for fishing out of my kayak. I was fed up with treble hooks getting caught in the string netting, so thought I would give this product a try. What a mistake. I have landed three trout with this net. Every time the lure (Rapala minnows) got badly caught up in the net. One time the treble hook was so badly tangled that I was only able to extract it by breaking one of the links in the net. As another reviewer has already suggested, it seems like this problem would be much reduced if the mesh had larger holes. This net is not tangle-free. In my hands, it is more prone to severe tangles than the economy landing nets available from Bass Pro Shops.
