Good for the price This net is large enough for quite the catch. The handle is adjustable out to over 6 foot. I was pleased since other landing nets are alot more expensive. This is big and probably could have ordered the smaller of the two nets but this han the smallet loops and it doesnt get tangled and the net is replaceable because that is what will wear out not the anodized aluminum adjustable handle. great policy for defects I recieved a gold series consirvation net I am waiting for our opener to use it but the first one I recieved was not sewin all the way around I called you and you sent me out a new one right a way and told me it was 24.99 and your policy is anything under 25.00 I did not have to send back which would have delayed the exchange process. thanks Bass Pro as once said by Arnold I'll be back! Very Nice Used the net for the first time last weekend and we landed several northerns over 30" and some walleyes over 20". It worked great every time, even with a rookie on the net. The large opening made getting even the biggest, liveliest northerns into the net no problem. The net is deep enough to hold anything we encounter. We had no tangled lures despite multiple treble hooks. July 5, 2010
not what I thought I purchased these for "frog catching" in our pond for your grandchildren They were too big and awkward for what we needed. This tho was probably my fault as I should have realized what I was purchasing from the description, I ordered 3 and only kept 1 as the one of the others did not work right. The extension handle would not stay in place to tighten. It was faulty. June 26, 2013

you might be able to catch a few bait fish but the holes are just big enough so that most smaller shad might get through but you could probably catch larger shad

you could drill holes every 6 inches or so and get a pin with a wire that locks around for easy removal and placement. make sure to drill holes through both poles in the same spot. thats what i would do
