I put this on last year and was amazed at how much better my motor ran. It's nice to see whats being filtered out too. I bought the replacement filters, and keep two 1/2" wrenchs in the boat in case I need to change a filter on the water, which can be done in less then 2 mins.

Nice little filter. I have a built in tank on my Starcraft boat and I just wanted to have some kind of filter before the motor. I just cut the line as the kit comes with 3 different size hose connectors and a couple of ty raps and it is installed. Quite a sturdy looking filter and easy to change the filter elements ( which I bought extra ones).

This filter easily replaced the disposable one with just a screwdrver and wrench to add the appropriate hose connectors. Be sure to buy some small stainless steel hose clamps and the 3 pack of replacement filters. I like the ability to see through the clear glass housing.

It should fit as it has a set of different sizes of barbed fittings that thread into both ends of the glass filter tube housing. It fit my 40 HP 1989 Evinrude fine.Details:Â
