Rated 5 out of 5 by Jahjer Glad to find one of these
We get a bunch of carp for a few weeks a year at our local lakes. Love shooting them with my bow . But I saw these while picking up fishing stuff . Works well and its fun . I dont know where I could even buy these but at Bass Pro .

Rated 4 out of 5 by ccotton333 Pretty good spear over all.
I must say that for the cost this is a very good spear. In my experience frog gigging I like a 3 prong spear but the prongs bent easily. I was able to straighten it out when it happened easily, but I'm not sure the full effect of the bending. Granted the spear takes abuse. I caught 28 last weekend with it. I have yet to have to sharpen it. but I have used it 4 times and caught about 75 frogs with it and still holding up pretty well. For the price I would still buy 3 or 4 and just replace them when you need to. I'm going to get a heavy duty spear when i can find one that doesn't cost $20. But until that time I'll keep using this one because you can't beat the price for the quality.
