I bolted the rod holder to the face of my ice chest to get the rods up off the floor. The rod holder works great with both casting and spinning rods.

This product is just as discribed. Made of good solid plastic. Mounted this on my 17' KW center console. Enough space between rods for conventional or spinning. Easy to instal
