The bad reviews are unreal. What do you want for $20? All I did was add shoe inserts for $9 and put a coat of beeswax on the outside and I got a great pair of waterproof, light weight and good looking shoes to wear fishing or any other place I want. I really like the comfort, light weight and looks. All the advantages of shoes that cost over $90. You can't go wrong.

I purchased these in hopes of finding a good low cost alternative to the Merril jungle mocs. They don’t measure up. Fair quality, lightweight, and potentially useful, but very uncomfortable. The soles are hard plastic/rubber, and it feels like walking on pebbles. I can feel every bump in the sole on flat floors. The composite of the sole is slippery on clod surfaces, and tends to “catch” on carpet. At best, they are a pair of slippers; not every day shoes. Now, to be fair, I am over 275 lbs. If you are lighter than that, you might be more comfortable. But my recommendation is to put $50 with the money you would have spent on these and buy Merril.

Purchased these shoes last year while on holiday and returning again and will be back in November to buy 3 pairs this time.

These shoes look fine and are value priced but they tore at the side seam the 1st time I wore them.
Shoes are often you get what you pay for (*sales excluded). Sent them back with a freight reciept for credit... BassPro is great though. Wish we had a store in Newfoundland. We're an outdoor-person's paradise.
