It does exactly what it says it will: it floats. Bought these since someone on my boat would always lose a net over the side. The construction is solid and the float makes it easier to grab as well.

Any little net will work fine (all the same in my opinion). This net is under two bucks and works just fine, can't go wrong.

About 4-5 inches...I'm not sure...it's floating in my bait tank now...but I'll measure it next time I'm out.

its about 3 1/4 inches at the wide part this is for scooping minnows out of a bucket its not 18 inches like that other guy said perfect if u r in a boat and might lose your net overboardDetails:Â

The handle does extend to about 4' adding you arm length of 24" and you have about 6'.

no but the float will move up and down the handle so the metal sticks out higher above the water level close to 9 inches long
