Our ultra-soft, heavily-salted 8up™ scented Bass Pro Shops® Flick'n Shimmy Worm is molded with a permanent bend in the middle, giving it an unsteady wobble that bass can’t ignore. Absolutely deadly on a shaky head or Texas rigged, and a real sleeper for wacky rigs.
Molded with a permanent bend in the middle
Deadly on a shaky head
A real sleeper for wacky rigs
Perfected in Japan, flick'n is a hot new variation on shaky head and wacky style fishing. There are two key aspects to this deadly, mostly vertical technique: the use of specially designed, super-soft pre-curved worm baits, and an emphasis on drop action. The ends of the ''bent'' worm wave wildly (like live tentacles) on the fall; simply ''flick'' the rod tip slightly to vary the action.
I am a big fan of senkos whacky style and jig wormed. This bait works equally well for big bass and the fish will swim with the bait for a long time. The durability is greater and the unit cost is way lower I may actually have some money left for gas. Highly recommend.

here's an example of just what drives me nuts about BPS plastics. look at the pic. you'll see that the bag of 6.8-inch shimmy worms i just received in watermelon contains 3 different shades of color. the four on the bottom are what i expect a watermelon-colored plastic to look like. the next two are a lighter green color i'd say looks closer to 'baby bass'. the 2 on top are an altogether different shade of green that is about halfway between. then, look at the worms in my package of 4.8-inch shimmy worms. these are also supposed to be watermelon but are yet another shade of green altogether.
