cat fishing must ive been useing these bells for a couple of months now and they are a must for catfishing you can have multiple lines in the water and know when you have a bite. the only problem ive had with them is when i set the hook the copper bells often fly of and in the dark they are impossible to find. Get's the Job Done These are a good innovation if you fish multiple lines and can't always stay at one position. they alert you when there is a strike/ fish on, always remember to take them off when casting and reeling in as they can become an obstacle at times. only fault is in relation to the saltwater fishing aspect as the bells will rust easily when coming into contact with salt water. one of the bells rusted the first day it was used, but still a good accessory to have when fishing multiple setups. A must have You really need these when ya go night cat fishing. I use the copper bells. The come off quick vs the littel jingle bells. The jingle bells have a screw type clamp the takes to long to removed when ya reach your rod to rell in. The copper bells are better, BUT. the spring mechanism falls apart sometimes. i went threw 4 last year. So i bought some aligator clips at the hardware store and super glued them onto the bells. NOW THEY ROCK March 6, 2008
I love this thing I've been using these bells for about a year and a half now and they have helped me catch many fish, especially catfish. Now i don't have to watch all of my rod tips very closley anymore, I just sit back and wait for a ring. I would recomend these bells to any serious catfisherman. I have had no problems with them, and they dont cost much so they're a great investment. I will buy many of these in the future I'm sure. July 12, 2008
