A: 
They work great Texas rigged. That is the way I fish them. I use a 3/0 or larger offset shank hook. Watermelon Orange works great in clear water.

No these worms are best the way they come. Just tie in your line, throw them out. I reel them hard for like three rotations and let them die (sink to the bottom) then repeat.
