You need to make sure the brass roller is securely seated against the rope each time an adjustment is made. Without doing this there is a risk that you will lose your fender.

Item seems to be well made. It must hang over the side of the boat in order to work correctly. Shipped on time.

I recently purchased two fender adjusters for my pontoon boat. They work great. I don't know what the deal is but I bought two at the Bass Pro Shop with black line and bought two online, but did not list black as an option. I had to go with white line.
Still great buy for the money.
