Don't think so. The two large boxes Plano provides for you are more than enough space to store tons of spinner and buzz baits. I have over fifty spinner baits in my one box.
Usually you can't get a tackle bag with boxes included.. I bought the tackle bag then 360 tackle boxes and more tackle stuff that fit properly in the bag.
The boxes come with the purchase of the bag so the price will not change. I would totally suggest buying this system due to the fact that with other brands you have to buy the bag and the boxes seperate. It's a great bang for your buck.
The tackle bag takes 11x7 boxes. The problem is they do not have any boxes that are suitable for my type of fishing. I fish off-shore on the Mexico Pacific coast. I use trolling lures with plastic skirts that are from 6" to 10 ". The boxes offered by Bass Pro are designed with compartments that will not hold my lures. I would prefer an empty box. One without compartments. I know they have to be out there but where do you find them? I have had no luck so far.
No, I realized this problem after I bought it, there is no good place for buzz or spinnerbaits. I just use small bungee cords to strap it to the top of the bag.
This particular item does not come with the utility boxes. The 360 Utility Boxes can be found by searching for item number 38-825-515-00. The bag packaged with the boxes is available in our showrooms.
There are huge differences. With the Elite Series Plano went above and beyond with creating a product that withstands the meanest elements that mother nature can throw at it. I was at one tournament and the the bottom dropped out of the sky and we were drenched with rain. However, all of my tackle and gear inside of my 4849 were bone dry. In addition, all the zipper pulls are reinforced with rubber handles and the base of the sytem now has hard rubber feet to keep the bag itself off of the ground or any other surface.
If I'm not mistaken, the new model's main left pocket is magnetic now (the one holding the towel in the photo), and it has a small pouch on the front of it. The one I have has two separate zippered pouches on that side, one above the other.
