amazing holds everything i could use. great for the boat or on the bank. i'll never go back to hard tackle box's again as long as i have this. i have a container for spinners, jigs, crank bait, and a separate container for weights and hooks. side pouches for extra lines of spool, and the top pouch i use for umbrella rigs, and hook retrievers and pliers. wish it came in black or a darker color. but other than that it's great September 19, 2012
Bag Bass Pro Shops This bag is So Practical, a good size and comfortable September 12, 2012
Great bag I like my purchase of this bag but it is bigger than i thought. I thought it would be slightly smaller. Other than that fits ample enough tackle to carry along. September 1, 2012
Better Tackle Bag Solution Backpack tackle bag is an excellent idea and works well - whether transporting gear to & from boat or while fishing from shoreline of lakes, rivers. streams, or ponds. Re-attaching bag to backpack is somewhat cumbersome, but practice eases this minor problem. August 1, 2012

the zippers are very durable but the bag is floppy and has no structure, go with the stalker xps which doesn't have that issue, but on a budget or if your in a pinch and dont mind the lack of rigidity its a good product

The zipper for the main compartment is large, and durable. The other zippers are a size or two smaller, but still pretty durable. I've used the backpack for a few months now, and haven't had any problems with the zippers.

The backpack isn't waterproof, but the material will repel most water. If it's raining a little outside, you'll be fine. If you go for a swim, expect wet contents.

This pack is not waterproof. If you have a gear proofing spray, that may work, just be sure to test a small inconspicuous area before spraying the whole pack as the spray may have discoloring effects, dependent on the brand and style.

the bottoms completely waterproof ie the part that sits on the ground, the rest is what I would call water resistant at best, i bring 30gal trashbags with me and store them inbetween the two bags (ie top and bottom sections) and whenever it starts raining (I do live in orlando after all) i bag the backpack till the rain stops and if i need to carry it ill poke holes in my garbage bag to put my straps through

No. Only the bottom. The top is canvas and will absorb water like any other type of cloth. The bottom can be touching water though.

It is not a hard padding but the boxes make it that way. The bottum fits 4 boxes so if you are thinking of using it like a chair it can work. I used to sit on the older model I owned when I got tired, I kept soft plastics and worm bags in the upper section and I bring so much stuff it actually makes it comfortable.

Its a thin rubber bottom. If the pack is full of trays, it will stand by itself. If the pack.is empty, it will fall over. Hope this is helpful.

A:
There is no hard padding on the bottom but, the 360 boxes make the bottom of the pack rigid enough to support it's self. I will caution you that if the pack needs to stand on it's own you must load it bottom heavy.

This backpack looks perfect for me as I usually have to walk a lot to the spots I fish, and always carry extra rods. However, I also fish lots of soft plastics, so if I can't put those in the 360 boxes then it doesn't really matter if it holds 10 or 100 of them. Thanks for any answers.

If you haven't gotten this item, do. I have it and I have a ton of plastics. I put them in Bass Pro Shops® Extreme® Double Worm Binder Bag. It fits easily in the top and still has room for more up there. I use (4) 360 utility boxes on bottom (holding most of my lures and hooks).

Have a total of 8 - 360 boxes, many loaded with various plastics and - so far - no problem with any sticking, etc. Can only hold 5 in the Browing 360 tackle box so depending on where I'm going, have to choose which ones to load.
