Great bag This bag is SOLID. Very well constructed. I keep my boat in storage shed. Living in Louisiana with high humidity causes life jackets to mildew. I purchased this bag to hold all my jackets along with the rest of my safety stuff: flares, throw pillow etc. When I'm not fishing, I keep the bag in my house in a controlled climate. When I take my boat out, I just bring my Bass Pro "safety" bag with me and put in my dry storage compartment in my boat. Comes in really handy when being checked by the Coast Guard or WLF agents, it's all there. It's worth the $! October 5, 2010
I love em This small one I bought was for my plano 3500 boxes that i keep my terminal tackle in, plus misc items. I have had the big one for a while and it fits my plano 3700s, shimano crankbait boxes, and my BPS double worm binder well. I've heard from people that the bottom acts like a sponge. I don't let it sit in pools of water and I haven't had any problems with it April 21, 2011
best ever if you own a boat you must own one of these, I bought the smaller bag, used it for a year or two, relized now i have so much stuff, i ordered the bigger one, go big or stay home April 19, 2011
Great Gift I purchased this boat bag for a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. I had been looking at many tackle bags with the divided trays and could not find one I liked for the price and design. My neighbor is an avid fisherman so I asked his advice. He was too happy to drag his out and show me the multiple trays it held. He liked the material it was made of and the durability of the zippers. When my boyfriend opened it, he was in awe. I explained the pros of the bag which my neighbor had pointed out. He was so excited over my selection. It is packed and in his boat for future trips. December 31, 2012

I can get 5 of them stacked atop each other and another 1, maybe 2, sideways for a total of 6 or 7 leaving just enough room for other things like my camera, a few spools of leader, etc

Probably not cleanly, the plano 7080 is about 16" wide, these bags are 10", 12", and 14" wide. You could probably jam it in the large one at an off angle, since the inside is quite open, but it would be a sloppy fit.

A:
For my boat gear bag I use the 18" bag. For 2 nite trips I take the 24" bag for my clothes, etc. Winter trips you need 30" bag for extra clothes. I also have a smaller boat bag I use for emergency, electronics. My boat has limited storage, so this combo works. All are Bass pro bags, they take a a beating, but hold up.

i would think if you measure your boat's storage locker and then choose a bag size that is appropriate (they list the bag dimensions on the BassPro website) that should work for you.

Just bought the middle size bag and it fits in my boats storage lockers just fine. The smallest size and the middle size should fit just fine, depending on the size of locker and how much gear you wanting to carry. The middle size that I bought has a great amount of room. Good Luck.

It will hold well over 7 or 8. I have 7 similar to the 370 just in the center on their sides. Then I have an enormous amount of space left on either side of the bag. I recommend making an interior frame to hold the bags shape and maximize storage. I made mine out of 1/4" pegboard.
