I purchased this combo as a 1st setup for my girlfriend. She loves it. It's light weight and comfortable. She has since caught many bass, biggest was 6lbs. I've used it and love it as well. Reel is very smooth and effortless. Casts well, I have 8lb Suffix Seige mono line on it. Only small drawback is that it has no eyelet on the blank for your hook. I tell her all the time, I wish BPS made this same combo in a color other than pink as I would love to own a few of these for myself. 6'6" medium 1pc combo.Fish from the bank only cause I don't own a boat.

me and my girlfriend bought this rod at basspro, when i was testing it out for her the next day the first fish i caught was a 4-5lb bass, pole held up fine and my girlfriend loves it.

The rod and reel were a gift for my son. On our first trip out, the rod snapped. We are returning it and will exchange for a different brand.
