Our Enticer Spinning Rod and Reel Combo is a do-it-all fishing machine with an impressive roster of features—at a price that will put a smile on your face and leave some moolah in your pocket for more great Bass Pro Shops tackle.
This reel gives you more advantages than you'll believe! Our Enticer spinning reel is an all-purpose, highly advanced reel that's a fine choice for everything from pulling pike from northern lakes to shakin' up bass in the deep south. Benefits include a double-anodized forged aluminum spool, brass pinion and drive gear, 6-disk drag system, 9+1 bearing system, with Powerlock™ instant anti-reverse.
Some say that IM-8 is the perfect graphite for building an all-purpose, cross-species fishing rod—and those folks are right. The reel gets direct blank contact so you can sense nibbles and pick-ups, and the premium cork handles cushion your palm and look great. Stainless steel guide frames house slick stainless steel rings, and a convenient hook keeper holds your lure when you're moving the boat.

by CMORR Broke First Day of Use
I purchased this rod/reel combo (medium) because it had good reviews and a reasonable price. I anxiously waited for it to arrive and took it fishing the very next weekend. I caught about 8 +/-2lb bass on my first outing without issue. I fished that afternoon and hooked a 5lb carp and once I got him to the shallow water, he made a dash for it and immediately snapped the pole. The fish was not even half the max weight it says it can handle and the drag was set so that it could take line. I am very disappointed in this product. At first, I wasn't too mad about it because I figured that maybe it was a lemon and I could just sent it back to be replaced. Well it would have cost me about $55 to ship it back which is more than the product is worth so there is no point in doing that. The closest store is 1.5 hours away so that is inconvenient as well. My best option is to just take the hit and buy a new rod.... FROM ANOTHER RETAILER. I will never buy another rod or reel from Bass Pro, especially not the Bass Pro brand. Buy a name brand rod and save yourself the trouble.

by HuntingMachine Best spinning combo for the money
I bought this combo in light weight for fresh water trout fishing. I use 6 lb test mono and it performs flawlessly. I really love the anti-reverse, it provides for instant hook sets. The reel has a very good feel and is balanced well. It feels like a much more expensive reel. This is truly a good buy and I plan on replacing a medium action combo with a new Enticer soon.

I own 3 of these enticer combos and these are outstanding. I fish bass and crappies and walleye with them. The price is outstanding also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gillsgonewild Nice Graphite Value combo
Just got the 5' 6" light action combo for creek fishing. Suprised at how nice the IM-8 graphite rod felt, and slick stainless guides were a plus. Nice cork handle, hook keeper too. Rod ALONE is worth the price at $49. Reel was 1000 size on this light action. Nice little spinning reel with instant anti-reverse, nice handle, vented alum spool. Not the most balanced reel I own, but should be fine considering the combo price. Am considering a 7' model for inshore redfish, too.
