worst jig on the market. The weed guard falls off right out of the box. I like BPS products but this one is awful.

Bought these to fish skirted grubs in rock and timber rip rap. The weedguard falls right out and the duribility is zilch. Don't buy this.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by tritonbass good to tie jigs with
I've been using these heads to tie jigs for 3 years, and i've been very satisfied. I pull the weed guard out to help make it easier so the fact that it comes out fairly easy is good. the line tie position is great and gammy hooks!!!!The only neg. thing for me is I would like to see a thicker trailer keeper on the shank of the hook

Colors, good! Quality, bad! The color selection on these is awesome, and I love the recessed line tie. However, quality control is nonexsistant on this product. The paint looks like it was applied by a kindergarten class. Additionally, they package the jigs while the paint is still wet. Moving on to the weedguards, they're the worst I've ever seen. I haven't had them fall out on me yet, but a twenty strand weedguard shouldn't stick out in eighty directions. They're impossible to trim cleanly. the only reason I give these a 2 star rating is because the line tie protects the knot when working rock faces, and because this is the only black/red flake jig head I've been able to find. Until I find a suitable replacement, I'll keep using these, but I can't honestly recommend them to anyone. Bottom line, a jig should outlast the trailer that's attatched to it.
