The eye of these jigheads is very tiny. To hook them onto a small snap, I had to drill out the eyes with a small drill bit.

i use these when making bucktails, the football head is always good to have but bps tried to get to fancy when designing the head. unfortunately alot of these jig heads have lead and paint sticking out from around the eyelet, this inturn rubs against your line... you should get the point but if time is taken you can go through and file all these little guys off. all in all you get what you pay for!!!

i bought these so i could make my own jigs with the do-it skirt kit (check it out) and was satisfied with these jigheads. the hooks are sharp and strong, but the weed guard is why it got 4 stars. it had some of the lead melted on in the guard, which could just be removed with fingers and the guards were a little out of whack, but it was nothing major. ive cought lots of fish on them.

BPS has made some excellent upgrades to these hooks, no longer is the paint clogging up the eyes, however, they could have given the jighead a bigger bait keeper. Still using great hooks.
