For many years I poured all my own jig heads . I had molds for different styles and weights and besides it was a lot of fun . Molds wear out and now days are expendsive to replace . It's now easier to go to BPS and buy my jig heads . One of my favorite are these football jig heads , I really like the hook on this particular model , it has a wide gap hook . I the like them with out weed guards . I feel that over time I have lost lots of bass because the weed guard has prevented a good hook set . You don't lose jig caught fish very often with out a weed guard . This jig comes in all the sizes you need with hook sizes to match . It even comes in several colors .
