The alcohol-resistant fuel line lasted a couple of months before the inner lining collapsed and blocked fuel flow. I almost replaced a $600 fuel pump on my engine thinking that was the problem. This fuel line is garbage and should be avoided at all costs...

what ever the brand you use...be sure it states its 100% rating aginst the ethanol fuels. many will say they are, but There is only 1 name brand that states this...Marpac Fuel lines..The cost is a little more, but if doesn't break down and stop up the carbs jets in the motor..Worth the extra cost in my opinon....A:Â
This is a fuel line assembly, does not include the fitting for your fuel tank, the size designated is for the hose diameter, so you would need to know the fitting diameter to know what size to order.Details:Â
I have a boat with a 1975 Mercury 115HP outboard. There are 2 pre-made kits listed on your website - which one do I need? There are no pictures that I can find so I can't compare them to what's on the boat currently.Answers

What ever you buy, be sure its a Marpac Blue line if you want the best.. ALL THE REST might say they are for use with ANY TYPE OF FUEL MIXES..but they are not...Marpac lines are the very best you can buy..They do not rot, get hard in cold weather, or melt with fuel mixes to clog up jets and fiters. as for what size, The kits come for Mercury motors..The lines are more than likely, one size fits ALL, if it says Mercury on the Kit....Images for this Answer

How far do you want to go? Most people use 5 or six gallon tanks.Get the universal primer bulb and alcohol resistant fuel line. Yours is probably 1/4 inch hose, but you should check it out before ordering.
A:Â
The size of your fuel line is determined by the fittings on your motor and fuel tank. Check the motor mfg as listed with the fuel lines in the online store and you should be able to match them up. If not, thern go to customer support and chat with an online rep.1 of 1
