Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Idea I bought this to help me fuel my boat on the boat lift. I fill up 5 gal cans and then set them on back deck of my boat. The siphon works great. I can empty a can in about 4 minutes. No mess at all. It really works unbelievable. All of my neighbors are buying one. For under 10.00$? No brainer. July 10, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Works like a charm Bought a brand new pontoon boat this year, our first boat ever. I was worried about filling the tank because the new "eco friendly" gas cans are anything but "eco friendly". Google brought me to this siphon and wow am I glad I found it. First weekend with the boat, I had fill it with 15 gallons, using a 5 gallon gas can. Set the gas can on the rest area above the tank (I have a waxed piece of cardboard that I use to set the gas can on in case any gas does leak out, which it hasn't), put the end without the brass fitting into the filler cap on the boat and the end with the brass fitting into the gas can, give it a few shakes and wait about 90 seconds. I am able to angle the brass fitting into one of the corners of the gas can, once it is just about empty, I tilt the can so I can pretty much empty the tank. No spillage, no hanging out over the end of the boat trying to hold the heavy gas can. I might get the 3/8" tube for around the house it works so well/ June 12, 2012
