Bass Pro Shops E-Z Siphon
Perfect for my purposes
Very easy to start. Just shake it up and down.
For filling a boat that is already in the water in a slip it is so much easier than holding a five gallon jug while it slowly drains. I just set the gas can next to the gas fill hole on the boat, stick the open end into it and stick the check valve end into the gas can give it a few shakes and sit back and let it do the work. I bought two more after I discovered this jewel. One for my shop and one for my yard shed.

Just put the end with the "ball" in the source gas tank, put the other end in the lower gas tank to be filled, shake the source end a few times and it flows quickly and cleanly. MUCH better than trying to fill up a boat gas tank with the gas can sideways & dripping into the water.
Fills my tank in less than 2 minutes from my 5 gallon gas can/tank. Less than 5 minutes for my 14-gallon portable tank.
GREAT product, I would buy again.

As of now, I have not used the 1/2" siphon but I have been using a 3/8" siphon. The 3/8 inch siphon sucks the gas in a tank down to almost completely empty. I have never been able to do this before even with a bulb type siphon. I bought the 3/8" siphon from Basspro a while back. I bought the 1/2" siphon as a backup and to be able to transfer gas faster when I need to. I'm sure the 1/2" siphon will work as well as the 3/8" siphon.

Gotta Have It!
This is one of the most useful tools I have ever owned. It works great for transferring gas into my gas tank without any spills. I also use it for putting gas into my lawn tractor, snowblowers, etc. Just position the gas can above the tank you are filling, prime the siphon with a few up and down motions and away you go. I will never be without one of these ever again. Everyone should have one!
