I've just recently started using a drop shot rig and this is a real nice thing to have. I have a separate rod and reel for drop shotting and this works great to keep everything in place and not flopping around and getting tangled with my other combos.

Easy to use and prevents a lot of headaches with drop weights. Memories of swinging lines getting tangled are far in the distant past.

Even though this a very simple idea, it works very well. No more problems dealing with a drop shot rig. Simple to operate and stays handy.

There are two velcro tabs. One secures the device to the reel handle, looking like a fabric ring; the other holds the drop shot weight. That tab looks like a small flap on top of the drop shot ring.
