I bought the hat because I was going on a mission trip to Honduras. I wanted something that would not only protect my nose and cheeks, but something that would protect my ears and back of the neck too and not look totally rediculous... This hat was perfect. Plus, the other hats that I saw like this one were $40 - $60... I didn't want to spend that much.
Funny story... The one day I forgot to wear the hat... I got sunburn on my head and face. Oh well. It was a successful mission trip and I was very blessed by the Honduran people.

This is a great hat, the only thing bad is the Camo Band. Was monuted to Quick because the BPS logo is off center and is very quick to notice without looking hard !! And is Hot Glued instead of stitched like it should be :)

This hat is worth every dollar. I work in the sun all day and the brim is just the right width for sun protection.

I bought this hat because my skin doctor told me I needed to cover my bald head while out in the sun ( after removing about a dozen spots from same head ). I just returned from a 5 day trip to Disneyworld. I wore it every day. The ventilation allows air to circulate through, but it can still get a little warm. I took it off occasionally to let my head breathe a little, but overall it is a great product that does what it is designed to do.
