I purchased this scale last spring before our season started and chose this one because it included the culling system. After about 5 tournaments, most of the cull markers had broken. the plastic would strip and break allowing the screw to fall out.
As far as the scale itself, it works fine, when it works.
it never comes on when you push the power button but it beeps constantly coming on and off on its own. DIgital scales are useless unless they work when you need them to.
I definitely would have returned this item if i could have found my receipt and would not have had to drive 2 hrs to the store.

I purchased this scale 7 months ago and it is still working, but every single time I hit the "on" button I fear that it won't turn on ever again. My biggest gripe about this product is that the "on" button sticks way out and bumps into everything, causing the scale to emit three LOUD beeps. Whether it's in a pocket of my tackle bag, in my sweatshirt pocket, or in the soft case that comes with it, this thing is always beeping and draining down the battery. Other than that, it's a decent scale for the price. It only reads up to 1/10 of a pound, so it won't work for measuring the weight of lures or sinkers with any accuracy. Generally, I question the accuracy of the scale, although I'm sure the measurements are in the correct ballpark. Also, if it's really cold outside, it won't turn on until it warms up, which is another negative. On the positive side, I like that it measures up to 50 lbs which means I can use it for both bass and bigger fish like blue/flathead catfish and carp, and it is easy to store and/or keep in my pocket when I'm bank fishing.

I purchased the BPS digital fish scale with culling system becaus my other scale died. When I was looking for a new scale, I noticed that the price of a scale was not much different than with the culling system. The scale is easy to read and the fish clips are easy to use. It comes with a pouch for the scale and a place to keep the fish tag as well as a color chart you can use to write down the weight of each fish. For the price you cant go wrong. I know several people on my Christmas list who would love to have one.

You can do any number. If your limit is 5, and you catch a fish to cull, just keep that weight, and then erase the lowest weight. Press undo and the weight you want to erase at the same time. The clear scale will start to flash. Press it, and the lowest weight will erase.A:
