Great on river fishing for sauger in the current with or without a minnow(tipped). Caught alot on gold also just jigging off the bottom.

I have used the B.P.S. strata spoon for years with ecellent results. The smooth finish on this spoon gives you one more option when the fish want something just a little different.

it's a head-scratcher for me when manufacturers don't put a split ring on the front of spoons. that is the case here too with the deep creeper but you're thinking "no big deal, i'll just put one on myself", right? the problem is, the front of the spoon is so thick (3/16th of an inch) that it is impossible to put a split ring on with springing the split ring. i sprung four owner split rings trying to do so. even the split ring in the rear attaching the hook is slightly sprung from the factory!
the other problem with the deep creeper is that it is long for it's weight. i got the 1.5-ounce size and it is the same length as some of my 3 ounce terminator spoons.

I used these fishing in the sierra mtns at a derby and these worked great. i caught a 2lb 3oz fish that won 3rd place and $50 and a 3lb 4 oz fish that i let go. they have great action and hold up nicly. highly reccomended.
