Bass Pro Shops® Curltail Stump Jumpers feature minnow-style heads. Dimpled blade creates baitfish-like response.
Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by poor purchase Took advantage of a sale on the new curley tail stump jumpers. After they arrived I understood why they were on sale. Most if not all the jigs were split and tore. Why not return them? Too much trouble especially when you need them yesterday. Very poor product. Not characteristic of Bass Pro. April 22, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good price, good jig I have been using stump jumper type jigs since I was very small to catch crappie and such. It is great to be able to find them now for such a small price. I bought darn near every color they have. April 11, 2009
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cheap, but they work I've had great luck lately catching stocked Rainbow trout with these guys. Just today I caught an 18 incher. So I must say that these do get the fishes biting. On the other hand you get what you pay for and they don't last terribly long before some part of them bites the dust. So, make sure to bring a few along and be ready to catch some fish. April 3, 2009
Rated 2 out of 5 by beware I recently bought a few of these lures. One of the lure's worm ripped trying to get the lure out of the package. Also the hook was very brittle and eventually snapped off. But i caught some fish. March 30, 2009

They don't carry the black head on the stump jumper, but my best is the white head and the red head.

I'm pretty sure that I've never seen this in black. I'm not completely sure if that is the color you may want in a flashy spinner/spoon bait anyway. Can always replace the jig head if need be.

A:
The bodies are glued on, but they can be taken off and replaced with another body. I have several bodies I have bought to replace when one of my bodies tear up. I have had only one of my twirl tail bodies to tear up and be replaced.

Sure can. The jig head part of the bait will usually outlast the life of the grub part anyway, so you can expect to take off the grub part at some point during its life.

You certainly can. I do this all of the time with different types of jigs and tails. Mix and match, anything to catch some good eating fish.

A:
of course. Might make more sense to do the reverse though.

Buy some jig heads you like then put your grub on those, or even "whacky" it and put the jig on a plasti-worm.
