I have been using stump jumper type jigs since I was very small to catch crappie and such. It is great to be able to find them now for such a small price. I bought darn near every color they have.

I've had great luck lately catching stocked Rainbow trout with these guys. Just today I caught an 18 incher. So I must say that these do get the fishes biting. On the other hand you get what you pay for and they don't last terribly long before some part of them bites the dust.
So, make sure to bring a few along and be ready to catch some fish.

I recently bought a few of these lures. One of the lure's worm ripped trying to get the lure out of the package. Also the hook was very brittle and eventually snapped off. But i caught some fish.

Catch all the fish you want. This jigs are great. Just got some and went out and the crappie couldn't leave them alone.

Could I take the grub off the jighead and replace it with one of my own if I wanted to?

You certainly can. I do this all of the time with different types of jigs and tails. Mix and match, anything to catch some good eating fish.1 of 1
