I bought about 15 of these because they were on sale and i was planning on gong crappie fishing the next week. i could never get the blades to turn and they kept swimming sideways. i switched to a roadrunner and it worked perfectly. i'll buy the roadrunner next time.

when this product went on sale, i stocked up on them. bad mistake! they are too small, blades are motionless, and they swim awkwardly. roadrunners are better quality and worth the extra money.

I purchased about a dozen of these in various colors to take my kids fishing. The variety of sizes and colors are perfect for any fishing situation. The bluegills tended to prefer the black and yellow in slightly stained water. They worked best when lightly jigging in heavy cover. The red/white combo was also good in the morning.
A few of these are a must for any tackle box and for the price, you can try several different combinations.

These little guys are absolutely fanastic on any kind of panfish. Today, I went fishing for a hour and a half and caught 14 crappie, numerous more hits, and even 2 bluegill, which I didn't even know lived in the pond! They held up great, although the hooks are a bit short and a few fish came off. These are the best panfish lures I have ever used, especially at 84 cents when on sale!

Could I take the grub off the jighead and replace it with one of my own if I wanted to?

You certainly can. I do this all of the time with different types of jigs and tails. Mix and match, anything to catch some good eating fish.1 of 1
