Bass Pro Shops® Curltail Stump Jumpers feature minnow-style heads. Dimpled blade creates baitfish-like response.
Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Crappie Spinner Purchased I went to the Bass Pro Shop and purchased some Stump Jumper lures. I purchased several colors and found out that the 1/16 and 1/8 oz. spinners with the white head, blue body, and white twirl tail was the best I have bought. I caught plenty of crappie, bream, and bass on these spinner baits. Love the way they act in the water and how easy they are to use. Great spinner for the money. Great for fishing in South Georgia and Central Georgia. February 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cheap Lure I bought about 15 of these because they were on sale and i was planning on gong crappie fishing the next week. i could never get the blades to turn and they kept swimming sideways. i switched to a roadrunner and it worked perfectly. i'll buy the roadrunner next time. Rated 2 out of 5 by buy roadrunners! when this product went on sale, i stocked up on them. bad mistake! they are too small, blades are motionless, and they swim awkwardly. roadrunners are better quality and worth the extra money. September 15, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Lure for Panfish I purchased about a dozen of these in various colors to take my kids fishing. The variety of sizes and colors are perfect for any fishing situation. The bluegills tended to prefer the black and yellow in slightly stained water. They worked best when lightly jigging in heavy cover. The red/white combo was also good in the morning. A few of these are a must for any tackle box and for the price, you can try several different combinations. August 19, 2010

They don't carry the black head on the stump jumper, but my best is the white head and the red head.

I'm pretty sure that I've never seen this in black. I'm not completely sure if that is the color you may want in a flashy spinner/spoon bait anyway. Can always replace the jig head if need be.

A:
The bodies are glued on, but they can be taken off and replaced with another body. I have several bodies I have bought to replace when one of my bodies tear up. I have had only one of my twirl tail bodies to tear up and be replaced.

Sure can. The jig head part of the bait will usually outlast the life of the grub part anyway, so you can expect to take off the grub part at some point during its life.

You certainly can. I do this all of the time with different types of jigs and tails. Mix and match, anything to catch some good eating fish.

A:
of course. Might make more sense to do the reverse though.

Buy some jig heads you like then put your grub on those, or even "whacky" it and put the jig on a plasti-worm.
